Metal Roofing

Custom Metal Roofing for Commercial Buildings and Select Homes

TT&L Sheet Metal fabricates and installs architectural metal roofing systems for commercial buildings and select residential projects throughout Oregon and Southwest Washington. From standing seam panels to custom flashing and transitions, our team works with architects, general contractors, roofing contractors, and homeowners to develop metal roofing components and systems suited to each building.

What We Fabricate

Our metal roofing capabilities include:

Standing seam roofing

Mechanically seamed roof panels and related architectural roofing components.

Long-length and custom panels

Panels formed to suit the building's dimensions, roof geometry, and installation requirements.

Trim and flashing

Ridge, eave, edge, penetration, and other details needed to complete the roofing system.

Transitions and custom profiles

Fabricated components for changes in roof geometry, adjoining materials, and unusual architectural conditions.

Water-management details

Custom crickets, flashing assemblies, and other components that direct water through complex roof areas.

We work from project drawings, specifications, and field conditions, with design coordination available when the roofing system requires additional planning.

Materials, Finishes & Fabrication Capabilities

TT&L works with architectural sheet metals including painted steel, aluminum, copper, zinc, and stainless steel, depending on the roofing system and project requirements.

Our shop has in-house roll-forming capabilities for mechanically seamed standing seam roof panels, including 1½-inch and 2-inch profiles. We can fabricate panels in the shop or use transportable equipment for on-site roll forming when longer lengths or project conditions call for it.

Our cutting and folding equipment also supports the custom trim, flashing, and transitions that accompany architectural roofing systems.

Fabrication & Installation

TT&L can support a metal roofing project through design coordination, fabrication, and professional installation. Our team works with architects and contractors to address panel layouts, material selection, roof transitions, and details that connect the roofing system to the rest of the building.

We also work with roofing contractors and other trade partners who need custom panels, flashing, or related components fabricated for installation by their own crews.

Installation is available for appropriate commercial and residential projects throughout Oregon and Southwest Washington. Custom shop fabrication can be arranged for Beaverton pickup or shipping, depending on the components and order requirements.

Experience With Complex Metal Roofing Projects

At the HP technology campus in Vancouver, Washington, TT&L produced more than 90,000 square feet of custom metal roofing. On-site roll forming helped accommodate long panel lengths and the building's complex geometry.

At Amaterra Winery, TT&L's roofing work included complex roof transitions and custom stainless steel crickets, demonstrating the importance of careful fabrication and water-management details on architecturally demanding projects.
